MEET OUR STAFF

Dr. Jocelyn J. Fox

 Dr. Fox was raised on her family's Polled Hereford ranch in SW Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Oklahoma Panhandle State University, her Master of Science Biology from West Texas A&M University, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. Dr. Fox began working for Dr. Douglas Matthews at the Vernon Veterinary Clinic in June of 2004. Upon Dr. Matthews retirement in December of 2009 she purchased the clinic and renamed it Fox Animal Services. Dr. Fox lives 10 miles SE of Crowell with her husband Taylor where they farm & ranch. They have a Blue Heeler named Shed, Chaquita the pit bull, and a Heeler mix, Abbie . All four enjoy taking their 5th wheel on the weekends to BBQ cook-offs where Taylor & Dr. Fox cook competitively as T-N-T BBQ Co. 

Tommy Glynn Love

 Tommy is originally from Chillicothe. He grew up working on his family's farm and ranch. He graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended Vernon College and Texas Tech University. After college, he returned to farming and ranching with his family. In 2002, he started working part-time at the clinic. He worked as animal technician for both large and small animals. In 2004, he became the Clinic Manager.
Tommy and his wife Heather have a daughter, Enia, who is very active in athletics. She plays on a traveling softball team, basketball team, and runs track. The Love family has three dogs. Reba is a Heeler mix, Seymore is a Llasa Apso mix, and a Chihuahua named Rosie.

 

Donna Pate

 Donna joined the team in 2017. She is originally from Yonkers, New York. She moved to Vernon to attend Midwestern State University where she received a BAAS in psychology. Donna founded a small animal rescue group, Papa Bear's Animal House. She is active in relocating several species of small animals. Donna always has a house full of animals. Currently, she has six dogs, six ferrets, five hedgehogs, and a squirrel. 

Jared Hopper

 Jared joined the staff in 2017. He was born and raised in Crowell, where he graduated from Crowell High School. Jared was a pipeline welder based out of the Permian Basin. He traveled all over the United States welding. He returned home in 2016 to be closer to his family. Jared is a member of the Crowell Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoys mudding in his jeep.  He has two dogs. Gary is a mixed breed and Penelope is a pit bull mix. He also has a cat named Houdini.
